As a former gymnast, Brigid began her Yoga journey to maintain flexibility and strength. However, she soon began to feel the transformation it had in her life and felt inspired to share the gift of Yoga with others. She went on to complete her 200-hour Ashtanga training in Goa, India where she also developed a strong practise of Pranayama and Meditation. On return, she completed her Prenatal Yoga certificate with YTTC.
Yoga has helped Brigid feel stronger, more flexible and fearless both on and off the mat. She loves combining creative sequencing of poses that will challenge the student to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness. Her wish is that her students step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced. Brigid holds a Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle coaching and is continuing her studies to become a Nutritional Therapist. Her nutrition philosophy focuses on empowering the client to reach beyond their average health and achieving optimal heath. She relates scientific information on nutrition in an easy to understand manner, striving for each client to feel and look their best.
Brigid completed her 500-hour advanced Yoga teacher training on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii in a world renowned school where she immersed herself in Vinyasa-style Yoga. She loves to share this fun, dynamic yet challenging class with you.
