Sherry is a RYT 500-hour certified Yoga teacher. As a science graduate with a Degree in Anatomy & Physiology and a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science Sherry always had a fascination with biomechanics and how the human body works physically. Sherry has been practicing Yoga for over 8 years mainly for physical benefits at first but on a trip to India 4 years ago her eyes were opened to the powerful mental and spiritual benefits yoga could have on her life.
As Yoga continued to grow in Sherry’s life she ventured into full time teaching in 2016 leaving her corporate job to pursue her true passion. After discovering Ashtanga Vinyasa style, she craved a deeper understanding of this practice and travelled to Indian to complete another teacher training and deepen her practice.
Sherry’s approach to Yoga is to incorporate a dynamic, grounded and nurturing style of teaching. Her practice focuses on building strength and flexibility whilst creating a meditative flow through asana with emphasis on breath and alignment.
She is firm believer in practicing what she teaches Sherry continues to seek the advice of great teachers to expand her knowledge, deepen her.own practice and pass this on to others. She believes in exploring life and using yoga as a means of re-connecting to the truth present within us all.
Sherry’s classes are designed to offer a space for exploration and connection with the body, mind and soul. Allowing the student to build their intuition and trust what they discover as they listen to their bodies. A space to explore, discover, and return. Sherry teaches from the heart within a warm and compassionate space sharing her personal experiences and passion for movement and mindfulness. She believes Yoga and Meditation should be accessible to everybody and her aim is to support you live a mindful life, with clarity calm and ease.
