Everyone starts the year with New Years Resolutions that normally fall back mid-January.
So February is here and it is time to set some realistic goals, not only inspired by the New Years. Plus, this is the beginning of a new decade and our plans and goals should be much bigger and better than ever.

What is Restorative Yoga?

 The aim of restorative yoga is to take the practitioner to a place of deep relaxation. Ample use is made of props to provide a completely supportive environment adapted to the individual body. 

Barre is largely inspired by warm-up exercises done at the barre at the start of any ballet class, where dancers build up their strength and flexibility before taking to the floor. It eliminates the complexities of classical ballet and in their place adds further toning and conditioning through repetition and pulsing.

Our digestive system - also lovingly known as our Gut- is home to 100 trillion bacterial cells. They live together symbiotically, communicating with the rest of the body to modulate our overall health. These bacteria extract nutrients from our food and decipher what is friend or foe. If they don’t function correctly, our health, sense of wellbeing, skin and body weight can become compromised.

What does training this way achieve? What equipment do we use? Bootcamp challenges every muscle in your body and with little rest in between each set; you're bound to feel the burn and intensity. 

Protein powder alone will not make you bulky or overly muscular, if it did it would be a miracle potion. Consuming protein powder is merely an effective way to ensure you are reaching your recommended daily intake of protein while not overdoing it on the calories.
