What is Pilates?
Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. This unique system was designed to strengthen, lengthen and tone your body. Focusing on core muscles, breathing and controlled movement, Pilates will improve posture, proprioception and core strength.

Our beginners class is a wonderful way to introduce you to the world of Pilates and is designed to teach you the basic principles. This will ensure that as you progress in your practise with OSLO Health, your body will work efficiently to achieve real results. Our expert instructors will focus on posture, breathing, movement and core stability. We will help you to understand the main muscle groups that are targeted during your class (without getting too technical of course!).
Pilates Level 1/2
As you advance from your beginners class be prepared for the burn. Level 1/2 Pilates will work every part of your body. Incorporating the use of different props, each class will add a different dimension and keep those bodies guessing.
Using the best of Pilates/Yoga mobilisations, myofascial release techniques and PNF stretching. These relaxing sessions help you build flexibility and strength at the same time as releasing joint tightness and muscle pain. Whatever your sport or work come to class and feel restored ready for the next challenge.
